Crown Princess Mary was animated throughout the ceremony, pointing excitedly at the horses to her daughters Princess Isabella and Princess Josephine of Denmark even as it began to rain during the Ringsted Horse Ceremony at Grasten Palace

Crown Princess Mary sported a flowing bohemian skirt and sandals, which she paired with a light raincoat and her oldest daughter Princess Isabella wearing a dress in understated tones of pink and cream with tan straps sandals.

Young Danish Princess Josephine couldn't hold back her excitement as she saw the horses during the ceremony.

Crown Prince Frederik and wife Crown Princess Mary of Denmark with their children, from right to left Prince Christian, 11, Princess Isabella, 10, and twins Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine, six, donned metallic puffer jackets to keep dry in the summer drizzle. Princesses Isabella and Josephine wearing dresses in understated tones of pink and cream while the two Princes Christian and Vincent keeping cool in the summer heat with shorts.

Danish Queen Margrethe II's jacket featured painted florals, a matching belt, and a bold yellow collar that stood out from her family's more neutral ensembles, she paired her bold rain jacket with a matching yellow hat to protect her hair, during the Ringsted horse ceremony at Grasten Slot  .
